“2019 is our S year”. The quote is from HubSpots VP and General Manager of the Marketing Hub, Nicholas Holland. It is a reference to how Apple launch their iPhones - every other year they launch a new model and the year in between they often release their S-model, that is a highly improved version of the current model on the market.
HubSpot’s go to market strategy for 2019 is similar. They didn’t announce any major new areas for their platform - or new Hubs as they call it, but they have decided to spend the vast majority of their R&D budget this year on fixing all the small things that really weren’t completed or ideal in the platform.
In our next meetup in HubSPot User Group Copenhagen on October 8th from 2-4.30 pm we will run you through all the updates that HubSpot announced at INBOUND 2019 early September + some of the key topics from the conference. And we will also take you behind the curtain and tell you some of the unofficial stuff that they are working on to be announced later.
Lastly we will have a short Q&A. I personally spent most of my time at the conference meeting HubSpot’s executive team and a lot of product managers. So if you are wondering what direction HubSpot will be taking or if they are working on specific new features I will do my best to give you the insights I have.
